    Call for Papers | “Queer Sport” | Special Issue of Journal of Homosexuality. Call ends September 1, 2019

    The purpose of this special issue is to fill in some of the gaps in our knowledge regarding diverse sex, gender, and sexuality in sport. We welcome papers addressing queer identities, experiences of queer people in sport, policy analysis, and discussion about greater queer inclusion.

    We are looking for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex or questioning athletes, coaches or other members of the athletic community (either “out” or “not out”) of all levels (amateur, collegiate, semi-professional or professional) to write a short narrative essay or memoir about their personal experiences as a queer member of the athletic community.

    Konferens om hbtq och idrott Drygt 200 personer deltog i konferensen om hbtq och idrott den 15 mars. Idrottsforskarna Håkan Larsson och Eva Linghede presenterade ny forskning om homo- och bisexuella elitidrottares erfarenheter av idrott, en studie som är delfinansierad av Centrum för idrottsforskning.
