Mads Skauge is a PhD candidate in sociology at Nord University (Bodø). His doctoral thesis deals with social inequality in Norwegian youth participation and activity in organized sports and at commercial gyms. His research interests and fields of expertise are mainly within sports sociology, social inequality, youth, sports, fitness, public health, sports politics, e-sports, talent selection, football and quantitative methods.

Jörg Krieger is a German sport historian, working as Assistant Professor for Sport and Social Science at Aarhus University in Denmark. In his research, he explores the policies and attitudes of sport organizations and their leaders in their attempts to combat challenging issues such as doping and corruption. Jörg’s current research focus is on the socio-political history of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

Magnus Kilger is a senior lecturer in Sport Science at GIH in Stockholm. His PhD project investigated the selection process in talent selection camps for the youth national teams in Sweden. Presently, his primary research interest is in talent management and youth identity in sporting contexts. Magnus has been coaching football and floorball on different levels for many years.

Jonas Mikaels har disputerat i idrottsvetenskap på avhandlingen Becoming-place: (Re)conceptualising friluftsliv in the Swedish physical education and health curriculum och är lärare i friluftsliv vid GIH. Avhandlingsprojektet handlar om friluftsliv som kunskapsområde i skolan med särskilt fokus på platsbegreppets betydelse som lärobjekt i den pedagogiska friluftslivspraktiken.

Jorid Hovden is a Norwegian researcher and professor of sociology at NTNU. She has studied gender and sports since the 1980s. She has repeatedly demonstrated how women are discriminated against and marginalized, both in key roles and in different sports. has been an active athlete, and was inter alia on the Norwegian national team in volleyball in the 1970s.

Stine Klein Degerbøl er Ph.D.og ansat på Psykomotorikuddannelsen, Københavns Professionshøjskole. Stine er funderet idrætspædagogisk og læringsteoretisk, og har siden fordybet sig i kropslige læreprocesser, bl.a. inspireret af fænomenologisk pædagogik. Hendes forskningsinteresser knytter sig til kropslighed, særligt som den kommer til udtryk i kunst, kultur og læring.

Signe Højbjerre Larsen is a Teaching Associate Professor (Ph.D.) in the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics at the University of Southern Denmark. Signe is a parkour athlete, and her research focuses on parkour, as well as self-organized movement cultures, cultural theory, sociology and philosophy of sport.

Dr Kelsey Erickson is a Research Fellow at Leeds Beckett University. Her primary research interest is the social psychology of doping in sport. Her PhD research was titled "Doping in Sport: a cross-national (US and UK) analysis of track and field athletes". Kelsey's current research is focused on designing, piloting and evaluating an anti-doping education program for student-athletes in the US, UK and Canada.

Shawn E. Klein specializes in ethics, popular culture, and the philosophy of sport. He is the editor of several books including "Defining Sport: Conceptions and Borderlines" (Lexington, 2016) "Steve Jobs and Philosophy: For Those Who Think Different" (Open Court, 2015), and "Harry Potter and Philosophy: If Aristotle Ran Hogwarts" (Open Court, 2004).

Andreas Fröberg has a Ph.D. in sport science, and is also a fully qualified PE teacher. He holds a Senior Lecturer position at the Dept. of Food and Nutrition, and Sport Science at the University of Gothenburg. His main research interests lie within the area of sedentary behavior and physical activity, and health promotion interventions among children and youth.
