Reworked and updated, Elisabet Apelmo published her dissertation from 2012 with Routledge in 2017, entitled Sport and the Female Disabled Body. We asked renowned disability scholar Dr. Anne-Merete Kissow for a review, and she returned an appreciative assessment of this “very important contribution to the discussion of sport, gender, and disability”.
