If you share this vision then we would welcome your application for the continuing (permanent) position of Associate Professor/Professor within the School of Sport and Physical Education, with an academic focus in the key strategic area of sport and exercise science and/or health and physical activity. The successful candidate will also be appointed as Head of the School of Sport and Physical Education for a five year renewable term.
As the Head of School the successful candidate will be a member of the College of Education Executive Committee and will play an active part in the future direction of the College as it aims to advance the international reputation in the area of Health and Education.
The school currently offers degrees in physical education and sports coaching along with leading health education and physical activity majors within the Bachelor of Health Sciences degree. The person appointed to this key strategic role will continue to lead teaching and programme developments, particularly at undergraduate level.
