SSSF, a multidisciplinary social sciences sport study journal, welcomes articles that deal with sport and social change and social stability in a wide sense, articles about the profound and comprehensive processes affecting sports such as professionalization, globalization, commercialization, urbanization, technologization, medicalization and juridification.

Leisure Studies is the journal of the Leisure Studies Association. The emphasis of the journal is on theoretically informed critical analyses within the social sciences and humanities of the wide range of topics that constitute leisure as a subject field – including the arts, tourism, cultural, informal and virtual activities, urban and rural recreation, sport, media and physical activities.

The concept of orthorexia first appeared in the late 90s and referred to a fixation on eating healthy food. Lately, however, the health fixation has been extended to include unhealthy exercise. Orthorexia is not yet a recognized diagnosis, and this article argues that when it is, it should include the eating disorder as well as the exercise disorder.
