Call for Papers | The Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Journal. Call ends 29 September 2017

The 2016 Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association (ANZSLA) Journal will be published in the coming months and submissions of articles are now invited for the 2017 ANZSLA Journal. The deadline for submissions is 29 September 2017.

The Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Journal is a double-blind peer reviewed legal journal, which conforms to HERDC requirements and is published annually. It is available to ANZSLA members and is also available to subscribers. The ANZSLA Journal is the only double-blind peer reviewed publication of its type in the Australasian region.

Members and non-members are invited to submit articles for consideration for publication in the ANZSLA Journal. The articles will be double blind peer refereed by two suitable persons, determined by the Editor, in consultation with the ANZSLA Journal Editorial Committee. Editorial Policy

  • To focus on publishing quality sports law or sports administration material dealing with current topics of interest to professionals, academics and sports administrators.
  • Articles to be of a high standard demonstrating thought and intellectual rigour in the manner in which current issues are addressed by the author.
  • Articles should range in length between 5,000 and 12,000 words.
  • Articles must conform to the style guide prescribed by The Australian Guide to Legal Citation, published by the Melbourne University Law Review Association Inc, Melbourne, Australia (http://mulr.law.unimelb.edu.au/).
