The Sport Psychologist, Volume 31, 2017, Issue 4

The Sport Psychologist is a scholarly refereed journal designed as a forum to stimulate thought and disseminate knowledge that focuses on the application and practice of sport psychology. A special emphasis of the journal is on the delivery of psychological services to practitioners such as athletes and coaches.

The organisers aim to make this the most accessible event in our history. To add to the occasion, the conference will be held during the FIFA World Cup. Delegates, should they so wish, will also have free access to the annual EU Sports Law and Policy Summer School which will be held on July 5th, 2018, the day after the conference.

Papers may focus on individuals, teams, or deal with themes that address sports and race in relation to: community, nation, and identity; social justice; gender and class; region; sport as a manifestation of cultural practices.
